June 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
~ PLAY UKES & SING the world’s GREAT SONGS with us
Every Thursday, 6:00-8:00 PM (except holidays)
after hours at the Wayne Senior Center.
ALL SKILL LEVELS
Beginner to intermediate & those with expertise are welcome!
Share what you know, we love to learn!
Beginner-friendly; we were all beginners once!
You will have more fun knowing a few basic (and easy!) chords like C, F, G7. One-finger/one-string chords: C, Am, A7 & C7. Or play the “Z” chord all evening and get used to strumming in time: (Lay your index finger lightly across all strings to mute them. Strum!)
AGES: We welcome players late high school to bon vivant retirees.
Ukulele: easy to get started and a lifetime to master! And so much FUN!
MUSIC: All Genres & Eras
(well, not much hip-hop or rap, so far)
Pop, Rock, Show Tunes, Classical, Tin Pan Alley, Country, Standards, Irish Songs, Blues, Sea Shanties, Folk, Gospel, Hawaiian, Jazz & Holiday. Traditional to current hits. Variety adds pizzazz!
